For our client operating in the Real Estate sector, we are looking for a Senior Reporting Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L and balance sheet) in accordance with IFRS for multiple real estate projects.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts for multiple real estate projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
- Consolidation: Manage the consolidation process for multiple entities within the RO portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
- IFRS Compliance: Ensure all financial reports comply with IFRS standards and provide guidance on IFRS-related matters.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance across multiple projects, including variance analysis and identification of key financial metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- CAPEX Reporting: Oversee monthly CAPEX reporting for multiple allocated projects and SPVs.
- System Management: Utilize and enhance financial software and systems to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Lead the transition to new financial systems as needed, on the reporting segment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution and financial alignment.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial project management, with a focus on real estate development or construction projects.
- At least 3 years of experience with IFRS.
- Ongoing or completed ACCA certification.
- Good knowledge of Romanian RAS.
- Good command of Business English.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Carisma, SAP, Oracle, MS Excel). Experience with real estate management software is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
