For our Client, an international chemical distributor, representing leading producers across South / Eastern Europe, we are looking for a Sales Manager
The ideal candidate should be a reliable and well organized person, communicative, active and proactive, dedicated and having good knowledge of the target markets (Plastic & Additives), also with:
- Completed university education in business, chemistry, or engineering (master level and/or foreign university of advantage)
- Good command of the English language, spoken and written
- Minimum of 5 years sales and experience in trade and distribution for raw materials and ingredients; preferably in a multinational business environment,
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Target oriented
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and gross margins as defined by the annual target agreement with the management,
- Implement company's specific strategies and measures
- Monitor actual sales performance and develop improvement measures where necessary
- Identify new market segments and pursue business potentials.
- Active competition watch and communication to the management
- Initiating and/or maintaining relationship with suppliers in cooperation with the management
- Implement company's credit policy and ensure collection of receivables on a timely basis
- Provide sales statistics and rolling sales forecast to the management on a regular basis
- Optimize local stocks
