Job description and key responsibilities

  • Working together with the finance team in month-end closing processes: reviews and reconciliations to ensure consistency and integrity of data, accruals computation and booking, fixed assets, part of ICO reconciliations, recharging computation, IFRS adjustments, financial reporting;
  • Perform analysis between statutory amounts and group amounts, achieve budgeting goals;
  • Forecast & Budgeting;
  • Identify financial gaps between forecasts/budgets and actuals, assist in providing explanations;
  • Provides ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by the Management;
  • Developing financial controls and guidelines, documenting processes to strengthen internal controls;
  • Works closely with the external auditors for the statutory and group audits and help implement all recommendations;
  • Proactive identification of risks, opportunities & involved in resolving operational issues;
  • Monitoring unit cost variance;
  • Analyzing inventory valuations;
  • Analyzing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization;
  • Review production variances (materials & labor) and help drive to root cause;
  • Performing month-end cost accounting closing in Infor LN;
  • Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger;
  • Performing life cycle cost-benefit analysis;
  • Reviewing expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate for the circumstances;
  • Recommend ways for organization to minimize their costs;
  • Coordinating with other departments such as human resources, payroll, accounting and finance to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked;

Required skills and profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics);
  • +4 years of experience in a similar position, with accounting/audit background;
  • Willingness to discover complex topics, dynamic, positive, proactive;
  • Able to work in a multi-tasking environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Language: fluent English skills are mandatory;

Knowledge of:

  • Very good knowledge of reporting procedures;
  • Experience with Infor LN / Oracle systems is a plus;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
