For our Client, one of the world’s leading logistics companies, we are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to ensure financial check and analysis related to operational departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and budget / target achievement follow up;
- Monitor profitability, productivity and financial KPI’s of each site in Contract Logistic division;
- Control costs and make sure that the proper accruals / provisions are in place for each month;
- Ensure follow up that open book clients are invoiced according with agreements and both effective and accrued expenses are aligned;
- Work closely with operational departments to ensure the accuracy of billing;
- Assess financial risk for operational activities from customers, carriers and landlords perspective;
- Validate purchasing process for each operational department;
- Perform research/ performance/ evaluation analysis of costs variances/ evolution;
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis;
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data;
- Participate in different projects, contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Support the development and enhancement of internal tools / systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar position (reporting, controlling, etc.);
- Planning, budgeting and cost control principles knowledge;
- 3+ years of experience in logistic and manufacturing warehousing activities would be an advantage;
- Financial reporting (prepare and consolidate the monthly financial reporting package which includes forecasts and variances, direct and indirect expenses, project performance, bookings, backlog, labor utilization and headcount);
- P&L experience;
- Ability to plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet deadlines and multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities in a fast-moving environment;
- PC Skills: Advanced Excel skills (able to manage large data sheets) + Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.;
- University Degree in Economical field;
- Very good spoken and written English;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to build relationships in a matrix based organization;
- Analytical person, detail oriented and team player;
- Availability for monthly business trips.
