For our client operating in the Real Estate sector, we are looking for a Finance Project Controller.
Job Summary: The Project Controller will be responsible for the financial project controlling and oversight of multiple real estate projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and real estate development. The Project Controller will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of real estate allocated projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Contract Management: Monitor project contracts, contract execution with impact on all financial aspects.
- Weekly Updates: Provide weekly updates on total construction costs and project liquidity flow, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. Prepare and update financial forecasts regularly.
- Reporting: Monthly CAPEX reporting and P&L reporting of the allocated projects SPV’s
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution and financial alignment.
- System Management: Utilize financial software and systems to track and manage project finances. Implement improvements to financial processes and systems as needed as well transitioning to a new software.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in development / construction company: financial project management, with a focus on real estate development or construction projects.
- Good knowledge of Romanian RAS.
- Good command of Business English
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Carisma, SAP, Oracle, MS Excel). Experience with real estate management software is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
