For our Client a global diversified industrial firm providing products, services and solutions in HVAC industry we are looking for a Commercial Sales Engineer.

 

Role:

Maximize customer and order acquisition in line with company strategy.

Overall responsibility for commercial/equipment sales and customer development in an assigned sales territory, by providing customer value through technical and commercial expertise and partnering. Equipment sales responsibility for selected groups of customers in an assigned territory.


Responsibilities

  • Customer & order acquisition for equipment/products
  • Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Develop local customers channel
  • Cooperation with Romanian equipment sales team
  • Cooperation with manager for equipment price positioning feed back
  • Romanian market research: competitors, producers, distribution, price positioning
  • Identify sales opportunities, discuss proposals and coordinate other processes to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty to the company through continuous support and customer assistance
  • Perform according to company strategy in terms of customer channels, product mix and selling level positioning
  • Report according to company rules. Use of existing pipeline management tools 
  • Using software/programs being obligatory in the company. Daily use company’s sales programs
  • Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard company’s contract templates when applicable
  • Present the proposal to the customer
  • Follows up with buying influences
  • Develop, evaluate and discuss possible solutions with customer
  • Actively participate in team work for projects/jobs defined by Sales Manager
  • Keep customer data base SLX updated
  • Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on equipment/service customer acquisition and development

Required profile

  • Languages:
  •          -Romanian - native
  •          -English - good verbal and written skills
  • Driving license

Education

  • Diploma – Technical University degree in engineering/HVAC preferably/ is minimum required

 

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales in Technical Services business or similar industry (direct sales, back-selling, customer service) and activity focused on building equipment sales distribution
  • Equipment price positioning
  • Building generic equipment portfolio
  • Sales strategies for captive and generic equipment sales
  • Basics of market analyses
  • Local HVAC or Technical Services market knowledge is a plus
  • Market intelligence and understanding competition
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proven selling skills with ability to deliver sales results
