For our Client, an exclusive multinational agent & distributor of several Specialty Food Ingredients, one of the leading global manufacturers of flavors & fragrances, we are seeking for a Business Developer / Food and Beverages.
- Promoting and selling specialties to the food & beverages industries.
- Growing existing business through existing customers and developing new potential clients, as well as to maximize sales opportunities and achieving new wins.
- Providing customers with general and specific information regarding products, applications, documents and presentations.
- Explaining and introducing to clients on a permanent basis new technologies/innovations.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Bachelor Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, food technology or related field.
- Previous successful sales experience of at least 1-2 years, especially in Flavors, will be taken into account preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
- Ability to develop in-depth relationships at all levels with customers. Acting as an ambassador for the business and accelerating sales.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Service mindset to ensure customer satisfaction/resolution.
- Pricing and payment term management experience.
- Willingness to travel to multiple customers throughout the assigned territory.
- Computer skills, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are required.
- Fluent English, writing/reading/speaking (proficiency level).
- A positive and confident approach.
